If you have problems loading a specific website, College online service, or web application, try clearing your browser's cache.
While your browser cache usually helps websites load faster, it can sometimes prevent you from seeing the most up-to-date version of a webpage. In some cases, an old or corrupted cache can even cause a webpage to load improperly or prevent it from loading at all! Fortunately, it's easy to clear your browser cache on any platform, whether you're using a computer, phone, or tablet. This tutorial will teach you the easiest ways to clear the cache on all popular browsers, including Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Safari.
Solution
- Select the Menu button (the three horizontal lines ☰) located in the top-right corner.
- Choose "History."
- Select "Clear Recent History."
- At the top, open the dropdown menu next to "When" and select "Everything."
- Make sure the following boxes are checked:
- Cookies and site data
- Temporary cached files and pages
- Note: You can uncheck "Browsing and download history" if you prefer to retain it.
- Click the "Clear" button.

- Click the three vertical dots in the top-right corner of your browser.
- Select "Delete browsing data."
- In the "Clear browsing data" window, set the Time Range to "All time."
- Check these two boxes:
- Cookies and other site data
- Cached images and files
- Note: You may uncheck "Browsing history" if you want to keep it.
- Click "Clear data."

In Safari on a Mac, you'll need to enable the Develop menu to clear your browser cache.
