How faculty can use Osmosis
Faculty use a variety of Osmosis tools and resources to supplement their lectures. (Some use Osmosis as a means to move toward or ). Here are some of the most popular ways that faculty have utilized the platform:

- Share Osmosis Videos via URL before, during, or after class. For example, videos can be added to your LMS, embedded in a lecture slide, or shared via email to supplement what’s taught in class. Videos can be found in the .

From Osmosis
In this example we’ll be embedding a PowerPoint file into a Blackboard module, but the same steps could be used to embed a Word document or an Excel file.
- Go to any video page and click the "Share" icon on the top of any video. []
- Click on the </> Embed option
- Copy the text in the Embed Code section. []
- Select any options (Start at 0:15 or Autoplay) and then click Copy code and close.
Embedding the File/Video in a Blackboard course
- Go to your Blackboard course and enter the content area and/or folder where you want the file to reside (e.g., Course Documents).
- If you want the file to appear immediately in front of users, add an ITEM.
- If you want the file to appear on a blank page, add a PAGE.
- Once the item or page opens, give it a name.
- Next click on the Source code button on the toolbar. []
- Paste the embed code from the instructions above and click Save to close the pop-up. []
- Click SUBMIT to save.
