Blackboard App offers a streamlined, mobile-friendly way to manage your courses for students and instructors.

While some advanced features are only available in the web version, the app covers most day-to-day needs for both instructors and students.

Download the Blackboard App from the or
Compatible Devices: iOS 14+ and Android 11+.
Log In: Search for your ��Ƶ of Medicine in the app. If it doesn’t appear, contact ed-tech@bcm.edu.
Language Support: The app is available in over 30 languages and follows your device’s language settings.

Logging Out: Select Menu, then Settings, then Log Out.
Language Not Displaying Correctly? Restart the app after changing your device’s language settings.

Activity Stream:Your landing page shows real-time updates—new content, announcements, grades, and more.

Courses: Select the Courses tab to access your enrolled classes. Instructors can manage content, announcements, and discussions here.

Grades: Select Grades on the main menu to see a quick view of your overall grades for all courses.

More Menu: Access settings, grades, messages, and tools. Instructors can also manage organizations and app preferences.

Create and edit content: Tap the plus sign in the Content tab to add materials, assignments, or tests.
Announcements: Post time-sensitive updates directly from your phone.
Grading: Use the Gradebook tab to review, annotate, and publish grades. Rubrics and attachments are supported.
Discussions: Moderate and participate in course discussions.
Push Notifications: Get alerts for new submissions, discussions, and other course activity.
