Professional Statement
I am interested in health literacy and the way it affects outcomes in patients with rheumatologic conditions. I am also interested in cultural competence and finding ways to increase cultural competence to improve the care of underrepresented minorities. From a disease standpoint, I am interested in both idiopathic recurrent parotitis and parotitis associated with autoimmune conditions like Sjogren's and IgG4 disease.
