Trevor M. Bibler, Ph.D., M.T.S., is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Center for Medical Ethics and Health Policy at ÌÇÐÄÊÓÆµ of Medicine and a Clinical Ethicist at Houston Methodist Hospital, with a background in religious studies and philosophy. Dr. Bibler was a Postdoctoral Fellow in Clinical Bioethics at BCM and Houston Methodist Hospital from July 2014-March 2016. In 2014 he earned his Ph.D. in Religious Studies from Vanderbilt University. He received his Master of Theological Studies from Vanderbilt Divinity School in 2009.
Dr. Bibler performs clinical ethics consultations at Houston Methodist Hospital. He teaches a variety of audiences and conducts research in clinical bioethics, religion and medicine, and philosophical ethics. His current research focuses on the ways religious worldviews—especially worldviews that include ideas related to miracles—influence clinical medicine.
