Professional Statement
As a provider of medical subspecialty care for adolescents and young adults at Texas Children’s Hospital and the ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ of Medicine Teen Health Clinics, Dr. Ricondo strives to create safe and affirming spaces that empower adolescents to embrace their individuality and begin to advocate for themselves within the healthcare system. She recognizes patients and families as integral parts of the care team and works with an interdisciplinary team of dietitians, psychologists, nurses, and social workers to ensure each adolescent and young adult has the support they need to thrive. Her primary clinical interests include the care of LGBTQ+ adolescents and young adults as well as sexual and reproductive health care.
