Dr. Maag is non-invasive cardiologist who serves as the Medical Director of the Baylor Heart Clinic. He completed his cardiovascular disease fellowship at Penn State Hershey Medical Center and has been in practice for more than 6 years. His cardiology interests include management of hypertension, hyperlipidemia and heart disease prevention. He is also an expert in cardiovascular imaging including echocardiography and nuclear cardiology. In addition to his patient care Dr. Maag is also a clinician educator. He enjoys teaching medical students, internal medicine residents and cardiology fellows. His love for teaching and dedication to education was exhibited with him receiving the 鈥淓xcellence in Teaching Award for Cardiovascular Disease鈥. He continues to look forward to mentoring trainees as they start their independent medical careers.
