Professional Statement
Dr. Stainback received his education at Vanderbilt University, ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ of Medicine and the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine. Dr. Stainback is recognized as an expert in noninvasive cardiology and echocardiography. He serves as Medical Director of Non-invasive Cardiology at the Texas Heart Institute at Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center. He is the current President of the American Society of Echocardiography, past-President of the Greater Houston Society of Echo-Vascular (2018), past-President of the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (2017) and past member of the American College of Cardiology Appropriate use oversight committee. Through these activities he helps to ensure quality cardiovascular imaging and clinical care at his institutions and for his personal patients in his general cardiology practice with the same group for over 25 years.
