Professional Statement
I am a board certified medical oncologist specializing in breast cancer care and research. I am the Executive Medical Director of the Dan L Duncan Comprehensive Cancer Center.
My research is focused on translating laboratory findings to the clinic to develop new treatments for breast cancer, and then taking clinical findings and materials back to the lab to study them with other scientists. Related to that, my team’s work has been pivotal in treatment optimization for HER2+ Breast Cancer, endocrine therapy for ER+ Breast Cancer, and new targeted therapy for Triple Negative Breast Cancer.
I dream of a world free of the pain and suffering of breast cancer and work tirelessly every day towards making that dream a reality.
