Professional Statement
Dr. Parks is an Assistant Professor at ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ of Medicine in the Menninger Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. She is a board certified psychiatrist and fellowship trained addiction psychiatrist. Dr. Parks practices at Ben Taub General Hospital in both general and addiction psychiatry, and has a special interest in women's mental health and addiction treatment. She also is the Director of the Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry Service at Ben Taub General Hospital, overseeing residents in training and medical students. She has a passion for teaching and is Co-Leader of the Addiction Psychiatry Lecture Series for the PGY-1 class.
