Professional Statement

Dr. Erin K. Greenleaf completed her master’s degree in forensic science at George Washington University in Washington, D.C., while working for the federal government.  She received her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia and went on to complete a general surgery internship and residency at Penn State M.S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Greenleaf also completed a research fellowship in clinical outcomes, with academic contributions in the fields of vascular surgery and oncology.  Following her residency, she completed her fellowship in vascular surgery at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Dr. Greenleaf is certified by the American Board of Surgery in general surgery and is currently serving in the United States Army Reserves as a general surgeon.

Dr. Greenleaf’s clinical practice and expertise focus on treatment of aortic aneurysmal and occlusive disease, mesenteric and renal artery disease, thoracic outlet syndrome, and arteriovenous access for hemodialysis. Beyond her clinical interests, Dr. Greenleaf aims to help patients understand vascular disease and helps to individualize treatment plans that are consistent with patients’ goals.
