Professional Statement
I began my position as a MICU night hospitalist at Ben Taub General Hospital in August 2020 during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in Houston. During that time, I developed a deep appreciation for the complexity of critical care medicine, the teamwork and collaboration required to manage acutely ill patients, and the ability to work closely with residents.
