Daniel Bonville, D.O., is a surgeon in the Division of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery in the Michael E. DeBakey Department of Surgery.
Dr. Bonville received his bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of New York in 1993. He went on to earn his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1998. His subsequent training includes a surgery residency at the Brooklyn Hospital Center, an Advanced Laparoscopy fellowship at Wilford Hall Medical Center, and a trauma/critical care fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He provides clinical care at the Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center and is also developing an academic program in the areas of acute care surgery and surgery critical care.
