Professional Statement
My current focus at 糖心视频 of Medicine, specifically at Ben-Taub Hospital, is to build a Comprehensive Interventional Pulmonary program, from the detection of a suspicious nodule to diagnosis and eventual treatment, patients face considerable challenges to navigate the system that includes communication and accessibility to testing. My goal is to mitigate this gap by collaborating with other specialists and creating a comprehensive model for lung nodule diagnosis. We have expanded the diagnostic capabilities for lung cancer by performing increasing volumes of Endobronchial Ultrasound and Navigational bronchoscopy. We have enhanced the therapeutic capabilities for advanced cancer with rigid bronchoscopy with airway stenting. My expertise in interventional pulmonology and training in Advanced lung disease and Cardiovascular critical care puts me in a unique position to care for severely ill advanced cancer patients needing complex procedures.
