Professional Statement
As the Clinical Director of Radiation Oncology at the Smith J. Evans and Mary P. Attwell Radiation Therapy Center, I am dedicated to serving uninsured and underinsured cancer patients and populations particularly vulnerable to health disparities. Our clinic is the sole safety-net option for radiation treatment in Harris County, a region with a population of over 4 million people. My professional mission is anchored in four core objectives: delivering top-tier compassionate care, educating future physicians, advancing health policy, and conducting research focused on population-based oncology.
I specialize in treating head and neck, lung, and gastrointestinal cancers, with a particular passion for optimizing the efficacy and cost-effectiveness of therapeutic interventions, minimizing radiation-related toxicities, developing predictive and prognostic biomarkers, and enhancing the overall quality and workflow of radiation oncology practice.
