Professional Statement
Dr. Szymanowski is a fellowship-trained laryngeal surgeon with special interest in care of the professional voice, in-office laser surgery, benign vocal fold lesions, early glottic cancers, complex endoscopic and transcervical airway reconstruction, functional voice disorders requiring in-office Botox injection, vocal fold immobility, and swallowing disorders including Zenker’s diverticulum. Before beginning his medical training, Dr. Szymanowski was a middle school science teacher and earned a Masters degree in Education from Pace University. He then went on to receive his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine and completed residency at SUNY Buffalo. Dr. Szymanowski completed fellowship in Laryngeal Surgery at the Massachusetts General Hospital Voice Center. He brings a passion for providing the highest quality, personalized care to patients with diseases of the upper airway.
